Officially Australia is now free of Equine influenza.
The information website is here: http://www.outbreak.gov.au/pests_diseases/pests_diseases_animals/equine_influenza/index.htm
There are still rules regarding horse events that differ for each state. Horses can be moved around Australia with no restriction or notification (except if importing into WA), but in most states if there is to be an event with 10 or more horses present it needs to be registered. Links to register events and individual state requirements can be found here: http://www.outbreak.gov.au/pests_diseases/pests_diseases_animals/equine_influenza/move_restrict.htm
